Welcome to Spring Mountain State School, we are currently taking enrolments for 2024 & 2025.
Please follow the steps below for an Expression of Interest for 2024, Please complete Step 1 & 2 now, as enquiries will be actioned in the order of receiving them.
Expression of Interest for enrolment in 2025. Please complete Step 1. You will receive an acknowledgement email within 3 working days with information about when we require the next steps.
Step 1- EOI

Step 2- Proof of Residency
Provide proof of residency. You will need to provide two artefacts:
- One primary source – a current lease agreement, rates notice, or unconditional contract of sale (if building we need both land and house)
AND
- One secondary source – a utility bill (e.g. electricity, gas) showing this same address and parent's/legal guardian's name.
These need to be Emailed to smss_enrolment@springmountainss.eq.edu.au
If you are building you will need to provide a statutory declaration stating your current address and that you are building within Spring Mountain State School's catchment with the intent of the house being your principal place of residence and your proposed move in date.
You will be emailed back confirming your child's principal place of residence is within Spring Mountain catchment area and you can proceed with your child/ren's enrolment.
Step 3- Enrolment Form
Complete the Application for Student Enrolment Form emailed to you once you are confirmed in catchment and return to smss_enrolment@springmountainss.eq.edu.auStep 4- Q-Parents
You will be sent an email from us with your child's EQ-ID and instructions on how to reqister with Q-Parent
You will be sent a separate email with an invite from Q-Parents.
Complete the registration and wait for an approval email
Once approved - Submit the permission in Q-Parents (online)-- School Consent Form (Q-Parent)
- Student Resource Scheme (Q-Parent)
- Third Party Website Consent (Q-Parent)
Step 5- Other Permissions
Complete and submit the esigns (online)-- iPad Terms of Use and Participation Agreement
- Student Library (RLC) Loan Agreement

Click submit (top right hand corner) and they will automatically send through to the school
Step 6- Enrolment meeting
You will be contacted for an enrolment meeting and uniform fitting in readiness for commencement at Spring Mountain State School. These meeting will consist of a small group information session with the principal or deputy principal about the school. This is also a great opportunity to meet other families attending Spring Mountain SS.
Step 7- Optional meeting
(Optional) - After the enrolment meeting you can request a one-on-one interview to discuss your child in more detail with the school. You might request this if your child has special needs, a medical concerns, complex family arrangements or any other reason you deem important.You can do this at the enrolment meeting or by emailing smss_enrolment@springmountainss.eq.edu.au As stated all our processes and policies will be explained during the interview meeting and can be found on our school website under
policies.
A couple of things that may be of interest before the interview.
Uniforms
We are a full uniform school. The uniform has been designed in consultation with the community reference group. The design can be seen on our website. We will be selling them via the uniform shop based at the school.
The Uniform Shop will open for orders/payments on Monday, 15 January to Friday, 19 January 2024 – Times: 8.30am – 1.00pm. The Uniform Shop has moved to the Qkr platform for all uniform purchases. There will be a transition period where we will still accept eftpos payments, however from Monday, 12 February 2024 we will only accept payments via Qkr.
As from Monday, 22 January the Uniform Shop will have new Opening Days and times - Monday to Friday – Times: 8.15am – 10.15am.
