Spring Mountain State School operates a full Student Resource Scheme (SRS). This will be a significant cost saving for our families as we are able to buy in bulk. It is also equitable, with all students having the same items. For our teachers, it means that students all have the quality items that are the same, making classroom organisation easier.
SRS for 2015 agreed by the P&C on 19/11/2024 is
-Prep $100.00 per year-Years 1-6 $100.00 per year (with BYO iPad) OR $140.00 per year (no BYO iPad)SRS Consent is found in the QParents App and is required on enrolment. All families participating in the SRS will be invoiced the $100 and those not participating in the BYOD in Yr1-6 will be invoiced the additional $40.
Please download the letter which contains detailed important information about the Student Resource Scheme (SRS)including how the scheme operates, annual participation fee and payment schedule options.
During the 2023 year the school engaged the P&C in concerns around non-payment of the SRS by families that agreed to the scheme and had students accessing all resources, apps and texts for the year.
P&C have approved an SRS Failure to Pay Overview.pdf and SRS Failure to Pay Flowchart 2023.pdf to ensure that families make payment on time and support the school accessing, paying for and engaging students with all resources. (Please click to view these documents)
Please note that failure to pay for SRS when agreed to by families results in resources/apps and extra curriculum activities not being able to be accessed by the student.
SMSS will provide access to resources for learning and curriculum but they will be limited to shared resources/apps and texts. Wherever possible, SMSS is requesting for SRS payments to be made in full at the beginning of the year. Center Pay is offered as an alternative and ongoing payment plan. I
