We are a fast-growing school, we finished 2024 with 750, our current prediction is 900 to start 2025. We anticipate growing an additional 100 throughout 2025. To forward plan for this growth in students we are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic teachers to join our AMAZING team! The model that we are working towards involves us engaging teachers as DRT's for growth - awaiting their class to become available throughout the year. This provides an opportunity for future SMSS teachers to be appointed to the school, access all PD, NCT Staff Meetings, Induction Program, Department Provided Laptop and school provided iPad in readiness for your on-class role.
We are looking for teachers with:
• Excellent Australian Curriculum Knowledge, building units of work with team members (not a teacher from a C2C school)
• Knowledge of iPads as a pedagogy using open ended apps to engage and differentiate for learners
• Experience working in a PBL framework - considering environment, differentiation of support.
• A teacher with a learner mindset who enjoys learning new ways of achieving success for their students and understands their responsibility to grow their knowledge and skills
• A teacher who engages in coaching/mentoring and collaborative planning opportunities
• A teacher who is a team player and understands organisational agreements and implementation as a team
• Inquiry based/play based learning interest/understanding

Fixed Term Temporary Full-timeSpring Mountain State School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Administrative Officer (AAEP), to join the team on a temporary full-time basis. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful applicant to contribute to the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing relevant and timely administrative support to the Principal and Business Manager. You will work within existing guidelines to provide basic resolution of problems by reference to established procedure, consulting the Principal or Business Manager for matters that are more complex or non-routine.
