Monday 25 April is ANZAC Day and the school community will be having our ceremony on Friday 22 April in the hall.
Classes will be involved in the ceremony by making wreaths, listening to our special guest speaker and our choir who will perform some traditional songs for us. We also have our own Defence Force Mentor, Mrs Melissa Cherry who now works at the school to help support our families.
It is a time of reflection and remembrance for our Defence Force personnel both past and present as we learn about our history and remember to appreciate this country we live in.
Monday is a gazetted public holiday for the community ANZAC marches that take place all over the state so that people can spend time with their loved ones and gather together at these special events.
