The SMSS Student Council are excited to announce the return of our Lego Masters Competition on Tuesday 21 July 2026 (Tuesday Term 3 Week 2)!

Prep to Year 6 students are invited to create an original Lego build using their own Lego bricks from home. Builds can be either 2D or 3D and this year’s theme is…

“Out of This World – SPACE”-

The cost to participate is $5.

To register for the competition, parents/carers are required to complete the consent via QParents.  Once consent has been completed, an invoice will be issued. After payment has been received, Student Council members will deliver a base board and name card to students in their classrooms.

Please note that the turnaround time from payment being made to boards being delivered may be up to one week.

To ensure all students get their boards before the holidays to work on their creations we need to follow the following cutoffs.

Consent due by  Friday 19th  June 
Payment  due by Monday 22nd  June.

Students are to bring their completed build, along with their name card, to the Hall on Tuesday 21 July 2026. Judging will take place during the day.

Students will need to come in the next morning (Wednesday 22 July) from 7.30 to pack down and collect their Lego creations. Parent assistance is recommended.

Please note that all base boards remain the property of the school.

All entries must be original creations. Pre-purchased Lego kits or instructed builds will not be accepted.
